Last Day in Delaware

Fast and slow - that's how the day went.  Pam, Donovan's other grandma, takes Sunday off.  So, we made apple upside down pancakes for breakfast, which people seemed to enjoy.  Yummy!  apples and sugar and cinnamon in the bottom of the pan with a little batter poured over and then baked. So good you don't need syrup - though Jack did use some.

Dinner was a prosciutto, basil, sun dried tomato stuff pork loin with roasted winter vegetables and green salad.  Oops!  The Mediterannean salt was way more potent that I realized and the veggies were a bit much.  But, the pork was a hit and I'll take that for being good enough.

In between meals we had Halloween craft day.  Pam had bought nearly every imaginable Halloween craft at Michaels and we made festive scenes for the windows. Haunted houses and spider mountains were decorated with every imaginable ghost, spider web, sparkly glitter glue, flying bat and tombstone we could fit on the paper.  Such fun.
